Fixed/variable contract
The fixed/variable energy contract configurator is available for any location and currency, allowing to model the simplest types of energy contract with minimal configuration. A contract of this category uses a fixed, non-time dependent energy price for both consumption and injection.
The form offers two inputs, to configure the consumption and feed-in (injection) prices, in a configurable unit (e.g. currency/kWh, currency/MWh). Which units are available depend on the selected currency. Because this type of configurator is generic, it directly applies the entered prices, so it is important to explicitly include VAT, transport costs, duties or any extra cost in the entered numbers. Carefully confirm that both the entered prices and the picked unit match the energy contract before submitting.
Warning
Note that the advanced wizard should be used for contracts where the fixed price depends on the hour of day or the day of the week (e.g. day-night tariff)
